Construction of a road connecting Har Hotzvim to the Ramot Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem, aimed at easing traffic congestion at the city’s entrance and benefiting the residents and visitors of Jerusalem.
The project includes the construction of three bridges to connect the new road to existing roads, including a bridge approximately 230 meters long over Nahal Tzofim. The bridge is being built using the unique “balanced cantilever” method, which allows for construction with minimal impact on traffic flow.
Additionally, the project includes the construction of retaining walls, infrastructure work, shoring, the building of an underground pedestrian passage, road paving, and final development.
The project has been underway since 2024, commissioned by the Moriah Jerusalem Development Corporation.
