Malcha railway tunnels and park

Construction of a light rail tunnel for Section 74 of the Blue Line, along with the development of Elmali’akh Park above the tunnel.
The project included the construction of a tunnel and Infra 1 infrastructure for the light rail as part of the Blue Line. The tunnel, approximately 240 meters long, was built using the “cut & cover” method, with a high level of precision in tunnel casting and light rail infrastructure execution.

Above the tunnel, a 30-dunam urban park was developed for the residents, featuring walking paths, bicycle paths, playgrounds, retaining walls, landscaping, and scenic development.

The project was completed between 2020-2022, commissioned by the Moriah Jerusalem Development Corporation.
